Enrollment Procedure
When an appropriate opening in a classroom becomes
available, the eligible family is notified and should
visit and
observe, and meet with the classroom teachers. This
visit will be brief and informal. Your child will be
encouraged
to observe the group and/or join in the activities.
The teacher will let the child set the pace for this
first
interaction. After this visit, in order to secure the
opening for your child, an enrollment fee equal to
one month’s tuition is required.
Before your child can receive child care, the Center
must have received the following:
- within 30 days, a completed medical
exam (signed by your
physician or physician assistant), and health
form (completed by the parent);
- current immunization record
- completed and signed application
form;
- a feeding schedule for children
younger than 15 months;
- signed statement that the
Handbook has been read and agreed to (found
in Parent/Guardian Handbook);
- a non-refundable
program fee, to provide materials for the
daily classroom
activities, prorated
according to when your child enrolls; and
- the
first month’s
tuition

The first
day the parent/guardian should plan to visit the
classroom with the child
for 1 to 2 hours and then
leave the child by himself/herself only briefly.
The next day the child can stay for 1-2 hours
by himself/herself.
Each day the amount of time should increase.
By the fifth day, the child should stay the
full day.
