Enrollment Procedure
When an appropriate opening in a classroom becomes available, the eligible family is notified and should visit and observe, and meet with the classroom teachers. This visit will be brief and informal. Your child will be encouraged to observe the group and/or join in the activities. The teacher will let the child set the pace for this first interaction. After this visit, in order to secure the opening for your child, an enrollment fee equal to one month’s tuition is required.

Before your child can receive child care, the Center must have received the following:
  • within 30 days, a completed medical exam (signed by your physician or physician assistant), and health form (completed by the parent);
  • current immunization record
  • completed and signed application form;
  • a feeding schedule for children younger than 15 months;
  • signed statement that the Handbook has been read and agreed to (found in Parent/Guardian Handbook);
  • a non-refundable program fee, to provide materials for the daily classroom activities, prorated according to when your child enrolls; and
  • the first month’s tuition
  • The Parental Agreement Form
  • Discipline and Behavior Managemnet Policy
  • Travel and Activity Authorization Form
  • Child Hill Day Care Center Enrollment Agreement

The first day the parent/guardian should plan to visit the classroom with the child for 1 to 2 hours and then leave the child by himself/herself only briefly. The next day the child can stay for 1-2 hours by himself/herself. Each day the amount of time should increase. By the fifth day, the child should stay the full day.
