CHDCC is accepting employment applications.
Our immediate need is for part-time employees. Part-time candidates must be available to work Monday-Friday until 6 pm. Start times can vary from 1:00 - 3:00 depending on your availability. Successful candidates will have experience with children, excellent references, willingness to learn, positive attitude, professional demeanor, energy, and enthusiasm about the opportunity to work with young children and their families. Proof of a TB test within the past year and a local criminal record check must be submitted before working with children. Candidates without the NC Child Care Credential will be required to obtain it within 1 year. Contact information is at the bottom of this page. This is not a temporary position!
We are also accepting applications for full time employment, for opportunities that may occur in next few months. Only applicants with at least 12 credit hours in Early Childhood Education and experience in a licensed child care program need apply.

Since 1967, this non-profit organization has filled a need in the community
for full-day child care. We provide quality care for children ages 6 weeks
until they enter kindergarten.
CHDCC is a place where children are cuddled and challenged;

May 1 -31 re-enrollment fee is $225.00. You still have until April 30th to re-enroll at $200.00 rate.
News
The Week of the Young is April 23 - 27th. We have activities scheduled every day. Our focus is creativity. We will have theater, music, and story telling.
Book Fair starts Tuesday April 24th and ends Thursday April 26th
the Children's Store, located off of Elliot Road, has a quilt hanging in the display window and many of CHDCC children contributed towards making the quilt. Go by and find your child's work of art. Great to be apart of the community.

www.nc211.org is a useful site from United Way when you or someone you know needs help, and doesn't know where to turn. They can provide direction to community resources for child care counseling, support groups, crisis intervention, volunteer opportunities, and others.
